Joost Hoepman

Bachelor in Architecture

Joost Hoepman

Hey there, my name is Joost, and I’m a Dutch student who is currently finishing up his bachelor's degree in Delft.

For as long as I can remember, I have had an inexplicable passion for both architecture and politics. And when I started my study architecture in Delft I discovered that I did not necessarily have to make a choice between these two, because they are inextricably linked! Since then I have felt challenged to constantly reflect on the ins and outs of our professional field. So it's very likely you'll see some politically tinted articles in the near future.

Let’s meet in Bnieuws! And if you see -  a very tall - guy walking in the faculty, don’t forget to say hello!

Maja Liro

Master in Architecture

Maja Liro

Ciao! I'm Maja - an Architect, Student, Editor, Bartender, Delivery Girl, Skipper, Animator, Drawing Teacher and Climber, among other things. I was born in Poland, but for several years I haven't been there for more than two weeks. Usually you can find me either at work or in nature, following my strong conviction in building as well as living in unity with the environment. I laugh more than I do not, finding humour in nearly all situations. If I succeed at properly expressing myself, perhaps you'll find bits of my whimsical storytelling on the pages of Bnieuws. Until then!

Nathan Döding

Bachelor in architecture

Nathan Döding

Hello. I see you found me. A half Indonesian, half Dutch Rotterdam boy looking to make the world a better place. My time in Rotterdam defines me. Growing up, I brushed with all social classes: hard working immigrants’ children at elementary school, posh directors’ crown princes at highschool. This made me realise the good in people, but also the bad, or rather; the discrepancies. I incorporate this in my work. Work like drawing, photography, designing, or writing. You might know my articles as some of the more lazy ones (they are), but I’m convinced that a degree of carelessness turns the whole into a more honest package. Something that speaks more from the heart rather than the mind.

Sem Verwey

Master in Architecture

Sem Verwey

Hello, my name is Sem. My father introduced me to making, and my mother to understanding. This led to me being specifically interested in Architecture, but more generally in other sciences and artforms such as philosophy, film, music and painting. I hope to end up in a place where I can combine all these things, in order to make and understand.
